“Desire is hunger is the fire I breathe
Love is a banquet on which we feed…”
~ Patti Smith.
July 1889.
Jo sends Vincent a letter about her pregnancy. An elated Vincent makes a supervised trip to Arles and visits his friends Joseph Roulin and the Reverend Salles, but both are out of town on holiday. Meanwhile, Danior pays a visit to Tiena and offers to adopt Samira’s daughter, Mara. She promises to consider his offer, but that night they quietly leave for Bilbao.
Emile makes plans to visit Gauguin in Pont Aven, but his dad forbids him to see that “good for nothing.” Instead, he spends the summer in St. Briac and meets Charlotte Buisse while Gaby gets married and moves out of her parent’s home, passing by the Yellow House in the process.
Arriving in Bilbao, Tiena buys a rundown property on the edge of town with plans on transforming the property into a Canina named after Mara.
